Dragoman is very excited about our new range of products. Our overland trips are better than ever with more regular departures, prices that won't break the bank and adventurous itineraries that offer an authentic travel experience.
We also have 5 brilliant family trips that just knock spots off your average family outing, some really interesting volunteer projects that link perfectly with our trips and also a few selected non-truck trips to new destinations in South East Asia.

There is so much to tempt you that we hope you will not be able to resist.

We have decided to split our overland trips into two sections that will hopefully make it easier for you to find the perfect trip

These are shorter overland trips of less than 28 nights, with very regular departures especially in East and Southern Africa. If you haven't got weeks to spare but fancy a quick fix of overland adventure this is the section for you.

If you're planning a gap year, sabbatical or simply think 2009 is the year for some extended travel then Epic Journeys offers you plenty of choice. These are the big ones that let you get under the skin of a country or continent. As well as the ever-popular Silk Route, trans-Africa and South American circuits there are some truly unique combinations such as Beijing to Nairobi via Central Asia, Egypt and Sudan in just 28 weeks.

Our family trips are designed to combine excitement, relaxation, learning and fun. These are active trips, and an essential element is meeting the local people, whether it is a spontaneous football match with local kids in a Peruvian village, visiting a school in Kenya or buying your lunch from a local fisherman on a Moroccan beach. Experience all the wonders of the world together with your children on an unforgettable holiday with Dragoman.

For 2009/10 Dragoman is pleased to be partnering the well respected volunteer project organiser, Madventurer. Madventurer are one of the original and best established volunteer project tour operators, with a reputation for putting together some of the best programmes in the business. We think that for many of you taking longer trips abroad the opportunity to link an overland adventure with a community project offering real benefits to the local community will be uniquely appealing. All the projects are designed to tie in with Dragoman trips, and they last 2, 4 or 6 weeks.

Yes, it's true. For the first time in our 27 year history we have taken the decision to offer some great adventure holidays that have NOT a truck in sight! Why? Well, 'though we love overlanding, and think that our truck trips are the best way to get under the skin of a country we appreciate that you may not want to 'overland' every year. These 'non-truck trips' allow us to offer you a greater choice of destinations as these trips run in countries such as China, Vietnam, Thailand, Cuba, Mexico and Morocco. Like our overland trips they still allow you to explore a country away from the main tourist trail and for once you don't have to camp. Please note that these trips are only available to book for customers living in the UK and Europe.

Once you are out there you might as well spend a little extra time and money and do anything or everythiong that is possible. Under each of our overland journeys' we give links to the various different 'Trip Extensions' that we offer. So if you are travelling in Tanzania, why not have a go at climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro or help out in one of our Madventurer Volunteer Projects. Likewise in Ecuador, you may well want to take a boat trip around the Galapagos.
